Watercolor on the Farm

Join us at the farm this fall for a one-day watercolor workshop with local artist Hannah Day, and farm-to-table meal. We’ll gather in the barn, around a table filled with autumnal abundance - colorful straw flowers and beautiful heirloom gourds - to paint a fall still life. Instructor Hannah Day will walk you step by step through rendering your subjects with close observation, foundational drawing skills, and watercolor technique. With a mix of demonstration and individual instruction, artists of all experience levels can walk away with a meaningful creative experience. After painting, you will enjoy lunch, prepared by farmer Bree and made from produce grown on the farm.

About the Instructor: Hannah Day received her BA in Visual Arts with an emphasis on drawing and printmaking from University of San Diego, then attended University of Hawaii at Manoa, to receive her MFA in printmaking. Hannah’s etchings have been internationally shown and collected, but her personal practice also includes paper cutting, graphite, watercolor, and murals. She has taught art for over ten years, to all ages, in many mediums. These days, Hannah primarily teaches watercolor, drawing, and pop-up art.
